Pacy and charismatic wing-back Adebayo turned down a number of EFL clubs to sign a two-year contract at Meadow Lane ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Following a period of adaptation, Adebayo began to show great promise before his season was cruelly curtailed by injury.
Having returned for pre-season in even better shape, Adebayo will now be hoping to make his mark in the EFL.
Adebayo hails from London and began his youth career with Brighton before eventually joining Peterborough United, for whom he made his professional debut in League One.
He then headed over the Irish Sea to play two seasons at top-flight side Sligo Rovers, moving on to Cork City before returning to England in 2018-19 to sign for Bromley.
Eastbourne Borough was his next destination and he stayed with the Sussex outfit for three seasons before moving to Ebbsfleet in the summer of 2020.
