Now in his fifth season at Meadow Lane having signed a new contract in the summer, Slocombe is a well-respected figure at the club due to his professionalism, considerable experience and willingness to impart knowledge on to younger players.
Slocombe has played much of his football in the EFL, winning promotions in consecutive seasons with Oxford United and Blackpool after leaving his hometown club Scunthorpe United in 2015.
The keeper, who has also played for Bristol Rovers and Lincoln City, was our number-one as we scured promotion from the National League in 2022-23.
