Academy graduate Brooks' potential was recognised with a new three-year contract in the summer of 2022.
Brooks has experienced a number of loans to steps 3 and 4 of the non-league pyramid and completed a move to League of Ireland side Cork City ahead of our 2023-24 Sky Bet League Two campaign.
Unfortunately, his experience was hampered by injury but he has since joined National League side Rochdale.
The former Sheffield Wednesday youngster has earned international recognition at youth level with both England and Republic of Ireland, where he continues to impress.
