The 20-year-old striker signed a deal on Monday after impressing on trial.
he now can’t wait to show Manager Ricardo Moniz what he can do and make sure he’s in the starting line-up in August when the season kicks-off.
He told Magpie Player: “It’s a relief more than anything and I can concentrate now on the next two years.
“It’s been good so far. I managed to get a trial at a big club, everyone has been brilliant and I’ve settled in.
“I know of Notts of course, growing up in England. I knew it was a big opportunity and hopefully lift myself and the club too.
“There have been a lot of trialists, which I wasn’t expecting and it’s the first pre-season away from Newcastle, so it’s been a big change for me, but it’s been a great experience so far.
“I like to get behind defenders, create and score goals and the fans pay to see some excitement and that’s what I will be aiming to do.
“The Manager has been honest with me and said I will need to fight for my place and I will have to work hard, but he will be there to support and help me and develop my game.”
