Notts County have signed defender Louis Laing on a one-month emergency loan deal from Nottingham Forest.
Laing, who has represented England at youth level, began his professional career at Sunderland and made one Premier League appearance for the club, coming on as a late substitute in a game against Wolverhampton Wanderers towards the end of the 2010.11 season.
The Newcastle-born youngster then spent time with Wycombe Wanderers on loan the following season, before making the move to Nottingham Forest this summer on a free transfer
A good friend of Notts County midfielder Liam Noble, 21-year-old Laing will now be looking to get some game time under his belt here at Meadow Lane and goes straight into the squad for our trip to Peterborough United on Saturday.
