New: Learning & Innovation

Exciting project underway

16 November 2023

We’re proud to announce the launch of Notts County Learning and Innovation Centre.

This exciting project will see the club unleash the power of its brand to be a force for good in the world of education, creating opportunities for people of all ages to earn qualifications and follow pathways into employment.

Partnerships have been forged with leading establishments to bring a host of courses to Meadow Lane Stadium and our chief executive, Joe Palmer, is hugely excited about the opportunities presented.

He said: “Notts County, the world’s oldest professional club and one of Nottingham’s most respected and notable institutions, is recognised globally for its contributions to football.

“But with that reputation comes a responsibility to consider how we can use our standing to influence society in new and meaningful ways.

“We are therefore delighted to introduce our brand new Learning and Innovation Centre, which will see Meadow Lane establish itself not only as a first-class football, conferencing and events venue – but also a place people come to develop new skills and build their futures.

“Our mission is to spark the imagination of prospective students by offering an unconventional setting for them to further their personal development across a range of contemporary and classical courses, delivered in conjunction with our growing list of industry-leading partners.

“As exciting as this is, we’re only at the beginning and I look forward to sharing further details on our partnerships and how we intend to scale our operation in the future.”
