Vote for your SLO

Notts County fans can now vote for the supporter they wish to see become the club’s new fan-elected Supporter Liaison Officer.

Fans were recently invited to nominate themselves for the position, which will soon be vacated by Rob Holland, and the following candidates have put their names forward.

Isaiah Fraser-Codrington

I believe I should be nominated as SLO for Notts County as I am a lifelong and loyal supporter, following Notts home and away for several years.

I work within a Mental Health Hospital. It is massively important to be approachable and somebody patients can trust and communicate with. Daily there are one-to-one talking sessions where patients will discuss their problems and needs. My role is to speak with the nurses and see if we can as a team come up with a solution. I then communicate this back to the patient, often having to use my conflict resolution skills as the answers aren’t always what the patient wants to hear.

I have sound knowledge of writing reports on incidents as part of my daily duties and I also use social media and Notts fans’ forums.

Loz Clough

I have been a Notts supporter for 49 years and have over 40 years’ experience working within Law Enforcement, Legal, Prison and Social Services, fields; in both sole and joint-working roles. I have also acted as a Mediator.

I’m gregarious, tenacious and reliable and believe that in applying for the position of SLO at my beloved club, I could/would represent either club and/or my fellow supporters with equal determination.

In being aware that some fans feel their views remain unrepresented, I know that I’m more than capable of helping to bring about positive working relationships between club and supporters, in addition to helping ensure that the views of supporters are heard, understood and appreciated.

Fully able to work in most environments, I believe I would bring about a reliable, motivated, professional and flexible commitment to this role.

Damian Marshall

I want to be considered for the role of SLO for one very simple but major reason, I love this club.

I have great respect for all the fans and those who work behind the scenes at the club and I would welcome the opportunity to work with the best in the business.

Despite my younger age, I have supported the club both home and away since 1998 and in that time I have managed to identify potential issues supporters have and have managed to put names to faces of those supporters who are popular and well known.

I believe I have the ideal characteristics and motivation needed to become this club's SLO and to represent the club and the fans to the best of my ability.

Andrew Locker - WITHDRAWN

All Notts supporters aged 13 and over are eligible to vote once for their preferred choice by emailing jordan.worthington@nottscountyfc.co.uk with the name of the candidate.

Voting will be open until 5pm on Tuesday 18 September.

The club recently interviewed candidates for the club-elected SLO role and will announce which supporter has been successful in due course.
