14/5 to win at Grimsby

21 January 2017

We crunch the odds ahead of the trip to Grimsby Town.

Notts have been made 14/5 outsiders to come away with all three points from Blundell Park with the hosts favourites at 19/20, a shade under evens.

Kevin Nolan's first game in charge ended in a draw and Sky Bet go 5/2 for a repeat outcome this weekend.

Most of County's wins this season have been by a 2-1 scoreline, which can be backed at 11/1. A 3-0 success for Nolan's side would be the biggest win of the season any Notts fan backing that as a winner at 50/1 would certainly have something to celebrate!

Jon Stead is Notts' top scorer with 10 goals to his name and the striker is 9/2 to open the scoring against the Mariners with usual strike-partner Jonathan Forte at 13/2.

Thierry Audel was in optimistic mood speaking to the press ahead of the game and you can get 50/1 on the Frenchman being the first name on the scoresheet.

Audel's partner at the heart of the defence, Richard Duffy, is available at 40/1 to score first with full-backs Matt Tootle and Carl Dickinson rounding off the unlikely lads at 33/1 and 28/1 respectively.
