Notts County's Haydn Hollis has spoken of his pride at reaching 100 games for his hometown club.
The defender reached the milestone by playing in Saturday’s 3-2 victory at Cheltenham Town. And he told Magpie Player HD that his achievement is a dream come true.
Hollis said: "If you’d have said to me when I was in the academy as a kid that I’d make 100 appearances for Notts County I’d have bitten your hand off.
"I wouldn’t have believed it, but I’ve got there and it’s a really great achievement. It’s a great football club, it’s my home town and I’m proud of it.
“But I also want to achieve much more. I love being a professional footballer and if I could have a long career in the EFL I’d be happy.
"I always give everything I’ve got day in, day out, and I think over time managers can see that in me.”
