Milsom and Loach visit Broxtowe United

23 November 2016

Rob Milsom and Scott Loach helped out at local side Broxtowe United last week.

The players spent an evening coaching the youngsters, who were overjoyed that the pair had come to join in with them.

Broxtowe's James Bromley said: "We told the kids several weeks ago that two Notts County players would be coming down to meet them and to say they were excited was an understatement!

"Here at Broxtowe, we have a wide range of abilities, sexes and ages. Many of the children possess no prior football experience before joining us, so the idea of meeting professional footballers was unimaginable.

"From the moment Scott and Rob arrived, the kids' faces lit up and we knew it would be a great occasion for them.

"The players were fantastic, answering a variety of questions, signing autographs and running a training session.

"There were more than 20 children on the night and every single one of them listened intently to the players and tried their hardest to impress.

"Personally, and as a club, I can't thank Scott, Rob and Notts County enough for taking the time to see the kids.

"They have truly inspired every one of them and the feedback from the parents has been amazing.

"Thank you for everything you have done for the club and, most importantly, our kids."
