He told Magpie Player: “We’ve got a great bunch behind the season here at Meadow Lane, so it was a pleasure to up this role and I believe I can offer a lot not just in terms of contacts, but also business acumen on the events side.
“There is a large inventory to sell and we will looking to maintain those current contracts within our existing sponsors as best we can, but also look for new business and linking that with our events team.
“We are making sure our packages currently in place offer as much as they can to both the fan and customer, whether it be a corporate meal or a fan coming for a game, we hope to have news of the packages online soon.
“The long-term vision is to further the company and make the best out of the relationship we have. We must have new sponsors, new corporate guests and make as much money for this club as possible.”
The club have also lined up plenty of exciting events to ensure that the hospitality suites aren’t just used on match days, with comedy nights, Christmas parties and an evening with former Arsenal FA Cup winner Ray Parlour at Meadow Lane all in the diary.
