The club are delighted to welcome back Andy Legg...
Supporters and guests will be able to meet former midfielder Andy Legg this Saturday in the hospitality suites.
The Welshman is back at the Lane, however hospitality is nearly sold out, so be quick to book your table.
Due to the popularity this season of our hospitality, the club's Gold Carvery packages are now SOLD OUT for the Chesterfield fixture, however we still have limited Platinum packages available and some executive box packages.
Legg spoke to The Mag recently looking back on his time at Meadow Lane in the 1990s. He said: "The club was sold to me that we would go forward. The stadium was being transformed and I looked forward to it.
"We had a successful season, especially at home. We were fantastic beating Derby 4-1, Leicester 4-1, Forest 2-1, but the away form was disappointing. We should have at least got in the playoffs that year.
"I can’t put my finger on why we were so bad on our travels, but the atmosphere for those local derby’s was fantastic.
"The game that fans will still remember was the game at the Baseball Ground, where that own goal by Meindert pretty much ended our hopes and knocked our confidence. It was a shame because I thought we deserved to be in the top six.
"I of course played in the Anglo Italian Cup both seasons and to play at the old Wembley was very exciting for us all. They were great occasions."
