Reserve team coach Richard Dryden’s largely youthful Notts County XI last night won 5-0 at Leicester Nirvana to finish of the club’s 2015/16 pre-season fixture list...
Two first half goals from first year youth teamer from Montel Gibson had Notts comfortably in control in the first half, whilst strikes in the second half from Filip Valencic, Lartay Sarpong and Billy Daniels all capped off fine individual performances.
First team coach Ricardo Moniz was watching from the sidelines, as was Head Of Recruitment Guy Branston after another busy week at the club which has already seen two more players – Elliott Hewitt and Thierry Audel – added to the club’s ranks.
The scoreline would have been more flattering if not for Yohan Rutty-Smith missing a penalty moments after coming onto the field.
