Midfielder Liam Noble believes the point at home to Leyton Orient was a good one…
The Magpies drew with much fancied Leyton Orient at Meadow Lane on Tuesday night and midfielder Liam Noble praised his team-mates after the 1-1 draw.
Notts now face Oldham Athletic at Meadow Lane on Saturday and the former Carlisle United man is already targeting maximum points.
He told Magpie Player: "I think first half we matched them and gave as good as we got, if not more. But second half, they were the better team, we were under a lot of pressure, but credit to the lads, we all dug in and got the point.
"I think it was a good point in the end. I think we need to remember how close they were to going up last year, so we've done really in the past two games and if we get three points at the weekend then it's been a good week.
"I'm not sure if the penalty decision was right, Curtis is devastated in the changing room, I've not seen it live yet.
"But we are giving absolutely everything for the team. That's all the Gaffer is asking for, we are just lacking that bit of quality to start to put teams to bed.
"We've dug in the past two games, but I think we've come far already together."
