Brad McGowan again played the whole 90 minutes in the heart of the defence. Unfortunately despite a good display and several well-time challenges, his side Rainworth Miners Welfare lost 2-0 to Romulus.
McGowan could be in action on Tuesday for the away fixture at Goole.
Full-back Kyle Dixon came on for the final 39 minutes in Boston United’s 2-0 home loss to Hednesford Town.
Meanwhile midfielder Greg Tempest was an unused sub.
The pair could feature this Saturday away to Leek Town in the FA Cup.
And finally striker Tyrell Waite is back with Ilkeston and came on for the final 21 minutes in a 2-1 win over Rushall Olympic. He nearly got his name on the scoresheet with his first touch too.
He could make a start away to Barwell FC on Tuesday.
