Halsall: Big Test On Saturday

24 October 2014

Head of Academy Coaching Mick Halsall is hoping the Youth Team can make it 4 wins in a row against Scunthorpe United…

Notts beat York City last weekend 7-1, but Halsall is hoping handwork at the training base will ensure an even better performance against the Iron.

He told the Official Site: "We are trying to keep the lads feet on the ground at the moment.

"The results have been good, but there's a lot of areas we can improve on and we've been working on them throughout the week.

"It will tough this Saturday, but we are looking forward to it.

"We have also been drawn away to Peterborough United, one of my old clubs, so that will be difficult, but exciting to be playing at London Road.

"It's always pleasing to get the wins, now three in a row, but there's plenty which we can work on."

The squad will be missing left-back Kyle Symons due to injury, but Halsall has everyone else available.
