Jack Grealish Hopes To Make His Dreams Come True When Notts County Face Oldham Athletic

Grealish dreamt that the Magpies achieved safety on the final day against Oldham Athletic and is looking to make it a reality at Boundary Park.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a great year at Meadow Lane - his first full season in professional football - and has grown attached to the club.

Notts need a point to remain in Sky Bet League 1 and Grealish is desperate to go back to his parent club Aston Villa knowing that he has helped his teammates to complete The Great Escape.

He told Magpie Player: “It’s going to be a bit emotional and if I had one way to end it, it would be to score the winner and jump into the Notts crowd.

“The one thing I don’t want to do is end my loan spell on a bad note but I’m approaching the game in a positive manner.

“My dad’s been saying to me ‘no nerves, just go there and be positive’ and hopefully we’ll get the three points.

“The main thing is just to get the point or three, so hopefully we can do that and stay in League 1.”

Notts are set to take well over 3,000 fans to Oldham and Grealish cannot wait to play in front of them for the final time.

“I think if you see our last few games at home, the crowd has given us so much support and it’s shown on the pitch,” he continued.

“It’s going to be like a home game for us and when I was told how many tickets we’d sold I couldn’t believe it.

“Hopefully they can play a big part on Saturday as well.”
