Development squad defender Jordan Holt has been called up to the Wales Under-21 squad.
Holt, 19, had previously been on standby after impressing in the Magpies' development squad but is now in the Welsh ranks for their home encounter with San Marino Under-21s.
The UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualifier will kick-off at 2pm on Tuesday 15 October.
