Kiwomya Happy With Finland Progress

12 July 2013

First team manager Chris Kiwomya was delighted with his squad’s progress during the pre-season tour of Finland.

The Magpies spent nine days overseas and played three games – all of which ended in victory.

Notts flew back to England on Thursday and are back in training at Highfields before a deserved weekend break.

Kiwomya has seen progress both on and off the pitch and is impressed with the way that his side has bonded.

“I’m really pleased, the lads have committed themselves in Finland very well," he told Magpie Player.

“The preparations have been very good and the team bonding has been excellent.

“We’ve had a little laugh at some of the players, the new arrivals, singing their songs.

“The lads did well to get the three wins and we’re now looking forward to getting back to business in England now.

"There’s some tough games coming up that will help us to be ready for the Sheffield United game.”

Next up for the Magpies is an exciting home clash with Galatasaray. For ticket information, click here.
