An update from day seven of the Finland tour...
Ahead of the clash with JJK Jyväskylä on Wednesday, we set off for the city. This meant a six-hour coach trip south.
Departure is at 10.30am and the trip is broken up by a rest stop around two-and-a-half hours in. We grab a bite to eat and then it’s back on the road for the rest of the trip.
We arrive around 4.30pm. The first thing people notice is that it’s quite a bit busier than the quiet town of Kemi.
Check-in is quick and the players swiftly disappear to their rooms. The hallways soon fill up as many of the lads chat and joke.
Some filter out of the hotel to check out the new surroundings. Jyväskylä is a nice city with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops.
Due to the trip, there is no training but a session awaits in the morning. As with day one, training will help to shake off the cobwebs of a tiring journey before the third and final encounter of the Finland Tour.
