Notts County’s npower League 1 match against Oldham Athletic, due to take place at Meadow Lane on Tuesday 22 January, is subject to a 10am pitch inspection on the day of the game.
Having beaten the wintery weather to get Saturday’s game against Sheffield United on as planned, Notts have faced further snow and frost over the weekend and have made the decision to call an early inspection to test the condition of the pitch.
The frost covers were put back on the Meadow Lane pitch immediately after Saturday’s game and the groundstaff have been working hard to battle the frost, but with temperatures due to plummet again overnight on Monday, an early inspection was deemed the sensible option for all parties.
