Back The Youth Team On Saturday

23 February 2013

Notts County youth team will take on Burton Albion at the club’s Highfields training ground this weekend, so why not show your support on this rare free Saturday?

With the first team in action on Friday night against Bury, it is the perfect opportunity to watch the young Magpies in action, as they look to continue their impressive league form.

The youth team were knocked out of the Youth Alliance Cup by their Walsall counterparts last weekend but are eager to bounce back with a victory.

They have won eight out of 10 in all competitions and the 11am fixture is the perfect opportunity to take a look at the club’s up and coming talent.

Youth team coach Brett Adams told Magpie Player: “We’re looking to get as much support as possible.

“All the fans will be behind the first team on Friday night but we hope, if they’re not busy, that they’ll come down to get behind us.

“We view it as a local derby and the last time we played them we were disappointing, but we’re hoping to have a real good go and put last week’s game against Walsall to bed.”

Youth team matches are played at Highfields Training Facility, University Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 2PS.
