Notts County are delighted to have secured the signing of highly-rated full-back Enda Stevens on a short-term loan deal from Aston Villa.
Stevens, who made nine first team appearances for Villa last season, joined the Premier League outfit from Shamrock Rovers in his native Ireland at the start of 2012.
The 23-year-old also played in the Europa League for Shamrock so arrives at Meadow Lane with an outstanding pedigree and will be looking to slot straight into Chris Kiwomya’s side.
With Alan Sheehan currently injured, Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Stevens will be hoping to make his Notts debut in the Capital One Cup second round match at Liverpool on Tuesday evening, having been given permission to play in the competition by his parent club.
