Midfielder is feeling the benefits of the backroom team's knowledge...

Alan Judge has thanked Keith Curle and his coaching staff for helping him to flourish in the black and white stripes.

The Irishman has predominantly featured in an attacking midfield role under the Notts boss, who arrived at the club in February, and he could not be happier.

Following on from 15 assists and eight goals last term, the midfielder already has four assists and two goals this season.

“He’s one of the main reasons that I’m doing well, I had a manager that’s come in and given me confidence,” said Judge.

“He gave me everything I wanted and knew who I was as a player.

“The two Colins (Lee and West), I couldn’t ask for better coaches and Chris Kiwomya has helped me massively as well, especially with my finishing.

“The manager doesn’t say much, it comes down to the two Colins for most of the coaching but when the manager something, he’s got that authority over us.

“Everyone listens, they shut up and listen, he says the right things and has a great presence.

“He’s great and has a laugh but when he wants to do business, he takes it very seriously.”
