Keith Curle takes his players to Nottingham Playhouse...

Notts County players joined Manager Keith Curle in attending Nottingham Playhouse on Tuesday evening to watch ‘Diary of a Football Nobody’, the play based on a book written by former Notts player Dave McVay.

Curle and his men took time to sign posters from the production, before taking their seats for the play, which has been receiving rave reviews from those that have seen it since it opened for preview showings on Friday evening.

The production, which is based on McVay’s book “Steak…Diana Ross”, is written by acclaimed local writer and Notts fan, William Ivory, and is a candid look at Notts County Football Club in the 1970s.

Released as part of the club’s 150th Anniversary celebrations, ‘Diary of a Football Nobody’ features Perry Fitzpatrick as McVay and Eric Richard as Jimmy Sirrel, amongst a stellar cast.

The show runs until Saturday 20 October at Nottingham Playhouse, with a special Gala Performance taking place on Thursday 11 October, which will see some Notts legends in attendance for a very special performance.

For more information on the play, or how to book tickets, visit the Nottingham Playhouse website or call 0115 941 9419.
