Boucaud’s Love Of The Lane

14 November 2012

Midfielder wants to make Meadow Lane his home...

Andre Boucaud has reiterated his desire to remain a Notts County player beyond his loan spell.

Boucaud’s stay with the Magpies is scheduled to come to an end in January and his parent club, Luton Town, have made it clear that they do not wish to loan him out again.

Discussions are taking place over the midfielder’s future but it looks like a permanent switch is the only option if the club would like to retain his services, with a fee likely to be involved.

Boucaud hopes that a deal can be struck so that he continue to play his football at Meadow Lane.

He said: “Nothing’s happened that I know and, at the end of the day, I’m just here to play football.

“If I get picked to play on a Saturday or a Tuesday, or whenever it is, I’m just going to give my all.

“I’d definitely like to stay, as you can see we’re playing good football and I’m enjoying my football.

“I love the place and hopefully something can get sorted out.”
