Club passes on condolences to family and friends of former player...
Notts County Football Club has been saddened to hear about the passing of former player Roy Horobin.
Roy, who is highlighted in the 1961.62 squad photo, played for the Magpies between 1958 and 1962, making 132 appearances and scoring 39 goals.
Following a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Roy passed away on Wednesday night aged 77.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Margaret, and two sons.
Roy’s funeral will be held at Streetly Crematorium, Little Hardwick Road, Aldridge, Walsall, West Midlands, WS9 0SG on Thursday 6 September at 12.30pm.
