Notts Ladies Pegged Back By Man City Equaliser

4 September 2014

Notts County Ladies were held at home by Man City as both sides left with a point in an entertaining 1-1 draw…

The Lady Pies took the lead through top scorer Jess Clarke, only to be pegged back three minutes later when Toni Duggan's strike meant both sides left with a point.

Notts County Ladies are still searching for their first FA Women’s Super League win since April after they were held 1-1 at home by Manchester City.

It looked like they would claim their first three points since they beat Everton on 20 April when player-of-the-match Jess Clarke fired them in front just before the hour mark.

But England striker Toni Duggan levelled just three minutes later to earn City a deserved share of the spoils, remarkably their first draw of the league season.
