The Magpies climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to an emphatic 3-0 home win against Coventry City back in February 2014.
Hayden Mullins headed home from close range, before striker Jimmy Spencer won the ball back and powerfully struck a 30-yard pile-driver into the net to make it 2-0.
Notts wrapped up the win thanks to an Alan Sheehan penalty in the closing stages.
The win moved Notts up into 19th, one point clear of the relegation zone.
