It'll be tough

11 November 2016

Notts County manager John Sheridan is anticipating a stern test against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road tomorrow afternoon.

The Seasiders have lost just once at Bloomfield Road this season - a 1-0 reverse against leaders Plymouth back in August - and Sheridan is under no illusions as to how difficult a challenge Gary Bowyer's men will provide.

He said: "They have had some decent results, particularly at home. They put four goals past Doncaster and beat Portsmouth 3-1 so we are expecting a tough game.

"We're doing ok, three games unbeaten in the league, but with our away record we will go there and try to win."

Sheridan and his team travelled to Blackpool this morning and Sheridan joked: "I might take a few of them for a swim but I don't think they will like it!

"Every time I go up to Blackpool or Fleetwood I have trained on the beach and we seem to get good results.

"But I don't want to count my chickens because Blackpool are a good side. I think they will be up and around the top seven because they have some good players in their squad."
