Notts County's Adam Campbell says the players are 'buzzing' ahead of Saturday's match against Luton Town.
The former Newcastle man scored twice in a confidence-boosting victory at Portsmouth last weekend.
And Campbell says their success on the south coast means the players are raring to go on Saturday.
He said: "All the players are buzzing. The gaffer has said he wanted to get the buzz back around the place, and that's exactly what we did by beating Portsmouth.
"The lads have been laughing and joking ever since and there’s a real feel-good factor around the place."
Campbell knows from experience that Luton are not infallible - but he is expecting a difficult match nonetheless.
He said: “It was the same last season but we went and turned them over there. Steady scored an unbelievable goal that day and we will be looking to do the same again this season.
"They’ll be coming into it with confidence, like us, and looking for the three points."
