CEO Sleepout fast approaching

12 October 2016

The CEO Sleepout at Meadow Lane is fast approaching, with local homeless charities set to benefit from fundraising.

On Thursday evening, CEOs and club representatives will arrive at Meadow Lane for a briefing before having the chance to network prior to the event.

The sleepout itself will take place in the Derek Pavis Stand, where CEOs will have the option of sleeping under the concourse or directly next to the pitch. The event finishes at 6am on Friday, when the participants will enjoy a well-earned breakfast before going to work.

CEO Sleepout is a registered charity that was set up to improve the lives of people battling with homelessness. Each participant has been set a target of £1,000 to raise in sponsorship.

Neil Kelly, Events and Partnerships Executive at FITC, said: “We’ve wanted to organise a sleepout at Meadow Lane for some time and decided to partner with CEO Sleepout because they had such success in organising similar events around the UK.

"We are working with the Trent Bridge Community Trust, the Friary and Emmanuel House’s winter shelter to organise a memorable event that will raise important funds at a key time of year for homeless people.

"With so many committed local charities working together, we hope many people will benefit from this event.”

PA to the Board and Manager Kate Lovett will be representing Notts. Click here to donate to her JustGiving page.
