FITC eBay auction

15 December 2016

Football in the Community are auctioning a signed, framed shirt to raise funds for their award-winning projects.

Following the reunion of the back-to-back promotion winning squads of 1989-90 and 1990-91 in May, FITC are holding a live auction for the shirt signed by many of the Wembley winners.

The squad were invited by Les Bradd and the NCFC Former Players Association to a celebration evening which was attended by Neil Warnock.

On the evening, FITC were lucky enough to receive a rare away shirt signed by Warnock and legends such as Phil Turner, Alan Paris, Mark Draper, Steve Cherry and Tommy Johnson - to name a few.

To help raise money for their community projects, FITC are holding an eBay auction for this one-off historical item, which would make an ideal Christmas present for any Magpies fan.

Bidding commenced on Monday afternoon and will finish between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday 17 December, when it will be sold to the highest bidder.

There is a reserve price of £100 on this auction.

Funds raised will go towards supporting FITC’s award-winning projects which include working with local adults and children in the areas of mental health, cancer rehabilitation, working-age dementia, weight management and many more.
