The winger put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract at Meadow Lane, following the expiration of his contract at Lincoln City.
Hawkridge was a key part of the Lincoln team that won the National League in the 2016/17 season, scoring both goals in the 2-1 win against Macclesfield which confirmed the Imps' return to the EFL.
The 27-year-old, who was born in Nottingham, had spells with local sides Carlton and Hucknall at the start of his career before a strong season with Gainsborough earned him a move to Scunthorpe United and a chance in the EFL.
After three seasons at Glanford Park, during which time he helped the Iron win promotion from League Two, he joined Lincoln on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell.
And, after an incredible season which saw him play in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, Hawkridge chose Meadow Lane as his next destination.
