The midfielder joined us on a free transfer from Fleetwood Town on 1 January, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal at Meadow Lane.

A graduate of Celtic's academy, Robertson has significant League One experience having previously enjoyed loan spells at Gillingham, Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers, where he played alongside John Bostock.

Richard Montague, who sits on our board and leads on recruitment, was delighted to welcome him to Nottingham.

He said: “It will come as no surprise to supporters that, after losing Geraldo Bajrami and Matt Palmer to long-term injuries, central midfield has been a key area of focus for us heading into the transfer window.

“Scott has huge potential but also possesses significant experience from the level above, making us confident that he can have a big impact between now and the end of the season.

“His ability on the ball makes him an excellent fit for the deeper midfield role and we’re really impressed with his athleticism and work-rate, which will benefit us both in and out of possession.

“We also believe that, at 22, he adds balance in terms of age to the midfield area which is a positive for us in the short and long term.
