Having joined in the summer of 2021, Palmer wasted no time in wowing supporters with his metronomic midfield performances.
At the end of his debut season, he scooped the Fans' and Players' Player of the Season awards and continued to be one of our top performers as we battled to return to the EFL.
Palmer is no stranger to league football having already racked up more than 200 EFL appearances – most recently in Sky Bet League One - and having won promotion with Burton Albion, Rotherham United and Swindon Town.
He'll be hoping to add yet more success to his CV in 2023-24.
