Everything you need to know

5 May 2023

We have provided supporters with all they need to know if they’re attending Sunday’s Vanarama National League play-off semi-final against Boreham Wood (kick-off 12.30pm).

We’re set to welcome a huge crowd to Meadow Lane for one of the biggest matches in our recent history and, to help all attendees enjoy their day, we’d like to share the following guidance.

Need to collect a ticket? Please do so in advance

  • If you’ve purchased a ticket and chosen to collect, rather than print at home, we strongly suggest you do so in advance of matchday if possible
  • Our ticket office is open 9am-5pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9am on Sunday
  • If you have any questions regarding tickets, please call 0115 955 7210 ASAP

Arrive early and bring the noise!

  • As head coach Luke Williams stated in his press conference, we’re encouraging fans to enter the stadium early and create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day
  • By doing this, you’ll avoid busy queues at the turnstiles close to kick-off
  • The stadium opens at 11am, with alcohol and other refreshments available in each concourse

Accessing the stadium and finding your seat

  • Check your ticket for the turnstile number and use the correct one for entry, ensuring you have your barcode ready to scan
  • Sit in the seat clearly marked on your ticket. Stewards will be on hand to help you find it should you need assistance
  • Retain your ticket for the duration of the match

Pyrotechnics and supporter conduct

  • We thank our supporters for continuing to not bring flares or smoke bombs into the stadium
  • Sadly, last weekend’s home fixture against York City saw two young fans hospitalised after pyros were thrown within the away end. Criminal convictions could follow for those responsible
  • We also remind fans that it’s a criminal offence to enter the field of play at any point

Ticket office and club shop – open from 9am

  • Should any tickets remain available for sale on matchday, season ticket sales will not be available between 11.30am and 12.30pm in order to process play-off ticket sales as quickly as possible
  • Should your ticket not scan at the turnstile, please visit the ticket office where our staff will be happy to help

Supporter bars

  • The Meadow Lane Sports Bar will be open to home fans only. Alcohol and light refreshments will be served from 10am
  • Lawton's bar will also be open to Derek Pavis Stand users from 11am

Post-match road closure

  • To assist with the safe dispersal of supporters, Cattle Market Road and County Road will be closed from full-time until deemed safe to reopen
  • Exit from the Cattle Market area on to Cattle Market Road and County Road will also be temporarily prevented
  • Exit on to Meadow Lane from the Cattle Market area will be unaffected
