Two of our sensory rooms have reopened following a period of refurbishment – and a global business has stepped up to offer free use to our charity partners, Rainbows Hospice, for all remaining Saturday home matches of the 2022-23 season.
The sensory rooms, situated in the Haydn Green Family Stand, provide an environment for people with complex learning difficulties to safely enjoy matches at Meadow Lane.
They’re staffed by expert volunteers and have been hugely popular since they were launched in 2016.
The club were recently contacted by outsourcing company Noon Dalton, who have kindly offered to donate four sensory room bookings to Rainbows, and their Global Operations Director, John Smalley, said: “As a lifelong Notts fan, I was delighted to see them partner with Rainbows as part of their commitment to supporting local children.
“This also presented an opportunity for Noon Dalton to support a fantastic charity and help the club relaunch their sensory rooms.
“One of Noon Dalton's core values is empathy, and it's fantastic to see how Rainbows truly embodies what empathy should be."
