Donation: Lifeline

Three key projects supported

24 December 2023

Lifeline has made a £60,000 donation towards several projects at Meadow Lane.

Every year Lifeline provides tremendous financial support to the club thanks to its 2,500 members, who pay £2 a week to be in with a chance of winning weekly and annual cash prizes while also qualifying for a host of exclusive benefits.

It was recently announced that part of this latest donation would go towards the installation of additional handrails in the Derek Pavis Stand. As shown below, they are now in position ready for the Boxing Day visit of Doncaster Rovers and will be painted black in the new year to match the older rails at the top of the stand.

Work has also been going on inside the stadium to provide Luke Williams and his players with a state-of-the-art meeting room (pictured above and below), with Lifeline funding the acquisition of the seating.

And finally, the remaining funds will go towards adapting several other areas inside the stadium in preparation for the forthcoming launch of Notts County Learning and Innovation Centre.

Chief executive Joe Palmer said: “Today’s announcement emphasises the huge impact Lifeline continues to have on the club 37 years on from its inception.

“A big thank you to the committee and all members for their ongoing contributions to the club’s progress.”
