Matchday info: Grimsby (H)

Get ready for historic occasion

12 August 2023

With more than 11,000 tickets already sold for Saturday’s long-awaited return of EFL football to Meadow Lane, we’ve supplied home supporters with everything they need to know.

Grimsby Town are the visitors for this eagerly-anticipated clash and, with a large crowd guaranteed, the following matchday guidance is in place for Notts fans.

Please collect tickets in advance

  • We strongly suggest you collect any pre-paid tickets well in advance of kick-off to avoid queues. All match ticket collections (including those for forthcoming away fixtures) will be from the clearly-marked window to the left of the shop, while season ticket collections will be from the main ticket office

Please arrive as early as possible

  • All areas of the stadium will be busy, so queues are likely close to kick-off
  • Turnstiles open at 1.30pm ahead of a 3pm kick-off, with alcohol and other refreshments available in each concourse

Accessing the stadium and finding your seat

  • Check your ticket for the turnstile number and use the correct one for entry, ensuring you have your barcode ready to scan
  • Out of respect to your fellow supporters, sit in the seat clearly marked on your ticket. Stewards will be on hand to help you find it should you need assistance
  • Retain your ticket for the duration of the match
  • Should your ticket not scan at the turnstile, please visit the ticket office where our staff will be happy to help

Cashless concourses

  • We now only accept contactless payments at our concourse kiosks
  • Cash can still be used at external catering vans

Post-match road closure

  • To assist with the safe dispersal of supporters, Cattle Market Road and County Road will be closed from full-time until deemed safe to reopen
  • Exit from the Cattle Market area on to Cattle Market Road and County Road will also be temporarily prevented from approximately 4.45pm until deemed safe to reopen
  • Exit on to Meadow Lane from the Cattle Market area will be unaffected

Supporter bars – home fans only

  • The Meadow Lane Sports Bar will be open from 11am, showing England’s World Cup quarter-final against Colombia (kick-off 11.30am). Alcohol and light refreshments will be served – and a Robbie Williams tribute act will be performing immediately after full-time!
  • Lawton's bar will also be open to Derek Pavis Stand users from 1.30pm
