Remembrance: Bromley (H)

Last Post to be played this evening

31 October 2022

We will remember those who lost their lives in service to their country at tonight's Vanarama National League fixture against Bromley (kick-off 7.45pm).

Serving soldiers Sapper Billy Garrett and Sapper Chandeep Singh, along with veteran Sam Mitchell, who have all been based at Beeston, Nottingham, will walk on to the pitch ahead of kick-off to lay a wreath in the centre circle, with both sets of players gatherered around them.

Our head coach Luke Williams and Bromley's manager Andy Woodman will also lay wreaths in their technical areas before a minute's silence begins on the referee's whistle. The Last Post will then be played by Paul Cuthbert from the Salvation Army brass band.

Several poppy sellers will be based around the ground and tonight's matchday programme will feature a special remembrance cover.

We will remember them.
