Matchday info: Grimsby (H)

All you need to know ahead of play-off clash

20 May 2022

We have provided supporters with all they need to know ahead of Monday’s play-off eliminator against Grimsby.

Post-match road closure

  • With a large crowd expected and to ensure the controlled dispersal of supporters, Cattle Market Road and County Road will be closed from full-time until deemed safe to reopen
  • Parking will not be suspended on Iremonger Road, however no vehicles will be able to exit any car parks on that road from 9.25pm (or later subject to extra time and penalties) until deemed safe
  • Exit from the Cattle Market area on to Cattle Market Road and County Road will also be prevented
  • Exit on to Meadow Lane from the Cattle Market area will be unaffected

Ticket office and club shop – open from 9am

  • Supporters who do not have a ticketing account with us will be required to provide physical proof of their home address, along with other personal details
  • For security purposes, the matchday ticket booth near the Kop will be closed for this fixture
  • Away supporters are reminded that under no circumstances will any tickets be available to them on matchday. Any Grimsby fans found to be in home areas will be ejected and won’t be relocated in the away end
  • Between 6.30pm–7.45pm, the ticket office will only be selling match tickets in order to manage queues. Supporters wishing to purchase or renew their season ticket can do so before 6.30pm or immediately after full-time
  • Should your ticket not scan at the turnstile, please visit the ticket office where our staff will be happy to help
  • Supporters purchasing a copy of our matchday programme, the Mag (£3), must do so with cash

Accessing the stadium and finding your seat

  • Queues will be busy close to kick-off so plan to enter as early as possible. Turnstiles open at 6.30pm, with alcohol and other refreshments available in each concourse
  • Check your ticket for the turnstile number and use the correct one for entry, ensuring you have your barcode ready to scan
  • Out of respect to your fellow supporters, sit in the seat clearly marked on your ticket. Stewards will be on hand to help you find it should you need assistance
  • Retain your ticket for the duration of the match

Supporter bars – home fans only

  • The Broken Wheelbarrow, located on Meadow Lane, will be open to home fans only. Alcohol and light refreshments will be served from 5pm
  • Lawton's bar will also be open to Derek Pavis Stand users from 6.30pm

Pitch incursions

  • Notts and Grimsby are united in their condemnation of the shocking scenes caused by pitch incursions at several recent matches
  • Both clubs appeal for all supporters to remain in the stands after full-time and wish to remind those in attendance that it is a criminal offence to enter the field of play
