We will host Nottingham Forest in a friendly on Tuesday 26 July (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Premier League outfit will be the only side to visit Meadow Lane this pre-season and a huge crowd is expected for what’s sure to be an enjoyable contest.
Meadow Lane will also host Forest’s pre-season friendly against Valencia on Saturday 30 July (kick-off 6pm), on the day we round off our preparations with a trip to York City (3pm).
Our chief executive, Jason Turner, said: “Today’s announcement is another reflection of the excellent relationship we have developed with our neighbours.
“We very much look forward to welcoming Forest to Meadow Lane for both fixtures and wish them well for the forthcoming season.”
Ticket details will be announced by both clubs in due course.
We can also confirm that we will be visiting Alfreton Town on Tuesday 12 July (kick-off 7.45pm).
