Jayden Richardson has extended his loan stay at Meadow Lane until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old Nottingham Forest wing back initially joined us for a month in December and has enjoyed a 100% win record since his arrival, contributing two assists and a goal in his three matches so far.
And we have now struck a deal with our neighbours which will see Richardson racing down the right in the black and white for the remainder of the campaign.
“Keeping Jayden is a huge boost for us,” said head coach Ian Burchnall. “He’s added another dimension to our attack with his pace and power – and he’s shown what an excellent end product he has, too.
“I’ve had really positive dialogue with both Forest and Jayden throughout his time with us and they’re both really happy with the environment we’re providing and the style of play we’re implementing.
“Being able to loan such talented young players like Jayden, Anthony Patterson, Connor Parsons and Zak Brunt shows what an attractive proposition we are and can only bode well for the future.”
