Grimsby: Lawton's reopening

Refurbished Pavis bar ready to welcome back fans

4 February 2022

Lawton’s Bar will reopen to Derek Pavis Stand users on Saturday, with access from 12.30pm and £2 pints on offer for the first hour.

Thanks to a substantial contribution from Lifeline alongside investment from the club, the bar has been completely refurbished and now boasts a 75” TV complete with Sky Sports, BT Sport and a comprehensive speaker system, making it the perfect place for a pre and post-match pint.

A Pavis turnstile (on Iremonger Road) will open early ahead of each fixture including Saturday's, allowing those with a ticket in that stand to watch the Emirates FA Cup tie between Kidderminster and West Ham in their plush new surroundings. After full-time, you can join us for England’s Six Nations clash with Scotland.

Capacity is limited to 100 people, so early arrival is advised.

Further offers and promotions will run throughout the season and our chief executive Jason Turner said: "I would like to express my gratitude to our facilities team, with a special mention to Dave Agutters and John Richardson, for their many months of hard work in breathing new life into Lawton's.

"We look forward to welcoming supporters back to a venue which we're sure Tommy himself would have been proud of."
