Jake Bugg is continuing his tremendous support of the club by remaining as our away shirt sponsor for the 2021-22 campaign.
The Clifton-born singer-songwriter, who is set to release his fifth studio album ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’ in August, has sponsored our shirts in three previous seasons.
But the 27-year-old still hasn’t quite got to grips with seeing his name on the front!
“It’s a surreal but brilliant feeling, especially when we win a big game and the players are all celebrating with your name on the shirt,” said Jake, who’s pictured wearing the new away shirt ahead of the full reveal later this week.
“I’m really looking forward to this season – especially after some of the good stuff we were playing towards the end of last. We were getting some good results and I’m hoping that can continue.”
Our CEO, Jason Turner, added: “We’d like to say a massive thank you to Jake for his brilliant continued support of the club.
“We wish him every success with the launch of his new album and next year’s UK & Ireland tour.”
