Jackpot draw winners!

Who's scooped this year's big prize?

19 October 2020

Long-time member David Atkinson is this year’s £10,000 winner in Lifeline’s jackpot draw!

David, from Bakersfield, had his number drawn out by club legend and Lifeline committee member Les Bradd earlier this week.

With membership at capacity for the first time in Lifeline’s history thanks to a surge in support during the coronavirus lockdown, five additional £1,000 prizes were up for grabs in this year’s draw and a full list of winners can be found below.

Our Lifeline coordinator, Lynn Lawson, said: “On behalf of the committee I’d like to congratulate David and all our winners and thank them for their brilliant support.

“It’s been an amazing year for Lifeline, with £130,000 going to the club to assist with the upkeep of the pitches at Meadow Lane and our training ground, the purchase of a new mower for our groundstaff, the installation of LED lights in the stands, maintenance of the Lifeline scoreboard and the acquisition of laundry equipment.

“All our members should be very proud of the way they’re supporting the club and I’d urge anyone who hasn’t yet joined our waiting list to do so as soon as possible!”

More on Lifeline...

Lifeline was first set up in 1986 to raise funds for the club during a periolous financial time.

And this summer hundreds of fans answered our CEO Jason Turner's call to sign up as a show of support during the coronavirus pandemic.

The response has been incredible and we are now having to take the unprecedented action of adding prospective new members to a waiting list, which you can join by clicking here.

Our Lifeline coordinator, Lynn Lawson, said: "Due to the terms of Lifeline's original constitution, we are unable to register more than 2,500 members.

"We've never been in this position before and we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who's helped Lifeline thrive more than ever."
