Fascinating discussion at Trent Bridge

Learn more about our historic relationship with our cricketing friends

5 March 2020

Supporters with a passion for our history are invited to attend a fascinating talk about our long-standing relationship with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.

This is the 110th anniversary year of our departure from Trent Bridge to play at Meadow Lane and the milestone will be marked with a special presentation, titled 'A Tale of Two Counties', in the Boundary's Edge suite during the tea interval of Notts' County Championship match against Derbyshire on Sunday 3 May.

The event will be hosted by Steve LeMottee, the Heritage Officer at Trent Bridge who also played a leading role in the recent heritage project at Meadow Lane, and our supporters simply need a membership or match ticket to attend.

Tickets will be available on the day, priced £9 for under 16s, £13 for under 21s and seniors, and £19 for adults.

It's one of several football-related presentations taking place throughout the course of the match, with NCCC's relationship with Derby County and Nottingham Forest also under the microscope.

We'll also feature in a presentation entitled 'Trent Bridge - the Home of the Beautiful Game' when Notts take on Leicestershire on Tuesday 14 April.
