Chief executive's note to fans regarding coronavirus

13 March 2020

Our chief executive, Jason Turner, has issued a message to supporters ahead of this weekend’s Vanarama National League fixture against Eastleigh.

Following the National League’s decision to allow all matches to go ahead this weekend, in the interests of the welfare of our supporters we encourage everyone to continue to consult public health advice before attending any of our upcoming fixtures.

As a club we are committed to playing our part in preventing the spread of coronavirus and we’ve put measures in place, such as asking matchday staff to wear protective gloves and requesting that supporters hold out their season card/ticket to be scanned, rather than passing it to the turnstile operator.

Furthermore, following the news that Harrogate have had to postpone tonight’s match against Solihull due to members of their staff going into self-isolation, we are in dialogue with the FA and Harrogate to establish whether our Buildbase FA Trophy semi-final first leg will go ahead next Saturday as planned. Whilst other FA competitions are affected, FA Trophy ties are still scheduled to go ahead.

We are committed to providing prompt updates to our loyal fans and, in an ever-changing environment, will continue to do so at the earliest opportunity.
