Free tickets for NHS staff

A gesture of gratitude from the board

26 March 2020

As a thank you for their incredible front-line work amid the fight against Covid-19, NHS workers will be given free admission to our next home league match.

NHS staff are working tirelessly as the world battles against the pandemic which has seen our season suspended.

But, when football eventually returns, our board of directors will be inviting them to enjoy an eagerly-anticipated Meadow Lane matchday at no cost.

“On behalf of the club I would like to place on record my immense gratitude to everyone in the NHS who is working so hard to protect us and to keep our beloved health service running at this crucial time,” said chief executive, Jason Turner.

“Their staff are under immense pressure and are putting their own health at risk every day to keep the rest of society safe.

“When we eventually win this battle and it’s deemed safe for our matches to resume, we’ll be offering free tickets to all NHS workers for our first home league fixture – an event which will give us an opportunity to enjoy a return to normality while also paying tribute to the spirit, thoughtfulness and commitment of the people in our health service.”

Season ticket holders who work for the NHS will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to hospitality free of charge.

Further details will be confirmed in due course.

Are you a Notts-supporting NHS worker? We'd like to hear from you. Please email media@nottscountyfc.co.uk.

This offer will apply for the first match with no crowd restrictions.
